Cancer costs for Ellis Emerson's Family

Hi, my name is Lindsay Singletary and simply put, Ellis Emerson is my best friend. As most of you know, her bright light is physically dimming here on Earth as she is surrounded by love in hospice care. After only 6 months of battling Stage IV Melanoma, she is losing the war.

Her daughter Andie, parents Dana and Terri, husband Dave and his mom Jean, along with other family members and friends are all rotating to stay by her side 24/7. Ellis was lucky to have wonderful insurance (which she told me she was thankful for so many times) but the costs of eating out, rental cars, flights, hotel rooms, etc all add up for her family in an already tough time.

It's nearly impossible to know what to do or how to offer support in times like this, but any financial contribution, no matter how small, would be 100% used by her family to cover any expenses incurred while they make sure she is constantly surrounded by love.

Ellis is such a giving, caring person. Her family has been touched by how much she impacted so many lives, even in her too-short life. Let's rally around them, in any way we can, and help them keep feeling the love that Ellis showed to all of us by giving it back to them.
