In February 2018 our family was hit with the news that our mother/mother in law/grammie, Melanie Walters Williamson Patrick has stage 3 metastatic breast cancer. For the past 2.5 years she has undergone nonstop monthly chemo treatments, radiation, surgery, followed by more chemo treatments. One form of chemo she will take daily for the remainder of her life... While she can't be cured at this stage, we can do all we can to extend her life as much as possible. Melanie, against her doctors wishes and all odds has worked as a registered nurse the ENTIRE course of these 2.5 years. She is a single parent and is the sole supporter of her 17 year old daughter who just graduated high school over a year early with honors and will be starting college in a few weeks at NWCC.  Melanie has worked diligently to pay her Medical bills on her own without fundraisers etc, and to keep her battles as private as possible  and has done an incredible job doing so..as a family we would like to ease the burden just a bit for her by trying to raise the money to pay off her remaining medical bills she has up to this point so that she can focus on her daughter's college with as little stress as possible. Out of thousands so far medically, she's managed to pay all but 2000$ which is amazing and hopefully GOD will continue to BLESS us and keep her cancer from progressing for as long as possible... Melanie is hardworking, and prideful and would give anyone Anything she had.. and would tell us she can do this all herself, we would be beyond appreciate if you could see it in your hearts to make this fight just a little easier for her.  GOD BLESS each and every one of you.  Sincerely,  Amber Williamson and family ♥️
