As some of you may have already heard, I learned recently and unexpectedly that my grandma has been diagnosed with cancer. She is my parent, best friend, mentor and so much more. Through this tough time, I’m attempting to make the experience of chemo and radiation as non traumatic as possible for her and my grandfather. 
I have developed this gofundme in hopes of paying for a Cooling Cap out of pocket. There are grants to pay for them but she will be starting chemo before I’d have a chance for all of that to be granted. My grandmother has long, beautiful hair. She loves to keep it long because she knows how much my grandpa loves it. A Cooling Cap helps drastically decrease the chance of her losing her hair through her battle. The cost can be anywhere from 1700.00 to 3000.00. Now, if I am unable to obtain a Cap for her, all of the donations will be going towards her medical care.
