Cancer combat! and Wig creation.

Hello, Tim and Abigael here - We are joining forces to Cut and Shave our magnificent flowing locks to raise funds for the purpose of continuing the fight against cancer.

Shave/Cut date: October 29th 2022.

Abigael is heavily involved in the community via dancing and sport - and is noticing an unpleasant increase in the society of people affected by cancer and its ongoing battles in many cases.

Tim is a Fire Fighter and is active in many community causes and Not-for-Profits. Tim has been a long-time supporter and fundraiser for cancer-related reseach and the pull to continue to do what he can to promote forward momentum in this sector and ultimately to dream of a day where ideally, cancer gets the full boot stop, but in the meantime, research progresses, and the affordability and availability of treatments is more readily available to every person.

All money raised will be directly donated to relevant organisations in this space; we will split the raised funds between Kids with Cancer Foundation and Breast Cancer Australia.

In addition, due to the length of hair being parted with, we are both able to donate the hair to the Kids with Cancer Foundation to create head coverings for kids undergoing treatment.
