The May family is proud, honored and Blessed to have Tanner May in their family. He is an Awesome!!! Tanner is just 20 years old and is currently undergoing his second bout with Cancer. Tanner grew up and resides in the Five Cities area, he attended Arroyo Grande High School. We are asking for your help to aid with Tanners future Medical Expenses & your Prayers for Tanner. The money raised would help insure that Tanner has funds to pay his future Medical premiums & deductibles. As well assist him in his future needs for travel to and from medical appointments along with other items related to his treatment. The Prayers are needed welcomed, appreciated and will help Tanner & his care team at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, navigate through his treatment.

Tanner was first treated in 2019-2020 at UCLA Los Angeles for what was believed to be Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma https://www.cancer.org/cancer/non-hodgkin-lymphoma/treating/b-cell-lymphoma.html . At that time he under went many rounds of intense chemotherapy and spent nearly 70 days at UCLA. Treatment for this appeared to be successful and Tanner was deemed disease free in January of 2020. Unfortunately the Cancer came back several months ago and it was just recently discovered that Tanner most likely had (GZL) Gray Zone Lymphoma. So in a nutshell he had Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Hodgkin's Lymphoma which is combined in basic, know as Gray Lymphoma. Tanner has Hodgkin's Lymphoma currently, Which is considered a https://www.haematologica.org/article/view/7933 recurrence Tanner is currently undergoing treatment. Tanner has just completed his second round of Chemotherapy this past week. He will be doing a second round of Chemo treatments in the first part of January, He will be undergoing an Autologous-Stem Cell transplant in the early part of 2022. https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/autologous-stem-cell-transplant/pyc-20384859 . He may need to undergo Radiotherapy https://www.uclahealth.org/radonc/ , That is still an unknow at this time.

Tanner will have many years of financial burden to get through, the money raised by all of you will assist Tanner insuring he can pay his insurance premiums, deductibles & other medically related items. It will be very important for him to stay up to date with MRI's, CT Scans, PET scans blood work and regular physicals checkups, as well as some travel related expenses for treatment. The money will be put into a separate account and only be used for medical related items for Tanner May.

Tanner is in great spirits, he is spiritually, mentally & physically strong and determined. Tanner has a passion for his life and others. Tanner doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for him!
