I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Cochran family. Jimmy is a loving husband to Nancy and a devoted father to their two young children, Logan and Emma (both under the age of 13). Last July, at just 39 years old, Jimmy's life took an unexpected turn and he was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, a terminal diagnosis. Having discovered the cancer too late, it had already spread to his spine and hip, but thankfully not to his brain. His cancer is too advanced for surgery, chemo or radiation treatment. So he is taking an oral medication with the hope that it will prolong his life long enough for a cure to be available. That being said, we don’t know how long Jimmy has left with his family and friends. He and his family need our support now more than ever.

Despite the overwhelming news of his diagnosis, Jimmy's spirit remains strong, and he is determined to make the most of the time he has left with his family and friends.

I asked him about starting a GoFundMe when this all began, but he didn’t want to bother people with his situation. However, the burden of mounting medical expenses and the constant worry of providing for his family weighs heavily on his shoulders. The costs associated with treatments, medications, and ongoing care have become an immense financial strain for them. Not to mention daily life expenses as well.
