Cancer Can’t Mess with this Ladera Mom!

Ladera Ranch - We need your help!! Our dearest friend and fellow Ladera mom, Daga, is battling a very rare Stage 4 aggressive Adrenocortical Carcinoma ACC with Cushing’s syndrome and Lung Cancer. This horrible diagnosis came out of nowhere and changed her family’s life forever. One minute we were all in Mrs. Kovaleski’s 2nd grade class enjoying our daughters present together, and the next minute we find out that our dearest friend Daga is hospitalized and needs emergency surgery. It happened just like that….in a blink of an eye, the Janczak family’s world was turned upside down. It has now been 2 years since sweet Daga started her battle with cancer.
Daga is a loving mother to a gorgeous 9 year old daughter, Julia and a loving wife to her amazing husband, Adam. She is truly the best of the best, an amazing human being and a super mom! Her kindness, strength and courage are unparalleled.
Daga is staying positive and resilient while fighting for her life. However, the Janczak family needs our help to bare the ridiculous financial burdens of slaying cancer. The cost of chemotherapy, medications, immunotherapy and surgeries are so absurdly high, their medical bills are reaching extremely close to 7 figures!
Daga had a very dangerous surgery last week where the doctors removed multiple tumors. In order to do so, they took out one of her kidneys, her spleen and part of her diaphragm and pancreas. She had to do this all during this COVID19 health pandemic without her family by her side. Their financial burden is getting even heavier since Adam is unable to work at this time as he is taking every precaution to take care of Daga during her recovery.
Please, we ask you to look into your hearts and help support our brave friend to continue her battle and SLAY CANCER.
She deserves to be around to watch her little girl grow up. Let’s help to ease the Janczak family’s financial burden during these tough times.
