A present for Cancer Care Ethiopia

My dad had cancer when I was about 12 years old. On his deathbed, he promised God that if he was given a second chance, he would spend his life working for people that were not privileged enough to live in Norway and get top-notch cancer therapy and care like he did, for people very close to his heart, poverty-stricken Ethiopians. Glory to Jesus, he became cancer-free (!!) and has now been dedicating his life for his heart-project: Cancer Care Ethiopia (CCE) for the last 10 years. It is a non-profit organization that works initially as a home for poor Ethiopian cancer patients while they receive chemotherapy, in their weakest state, with a diminished immune system. They care for patients that have no home when coming to the capital, Addis Abeba, for treatment. They provide shelter, food, transport to the hospital and general care. I have visited CCE several times and my heart was moved when I saw the patients. They are so grateful for the help they receive and I have seen how drastically their lives have changed after receiving this help. CCE also works towards increasing cancer care and awareness in Ethiopia. Now, after many years of HARD work by my father and his wonderful team in Norway and Ethiopia, a newly built cancer care centre will be opening this year! Really exciting! God is faithful!
