Cancer Battle - Shawn Coleman - Support Needed
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cheryl Loftis and I'm reaching out to you by fundraising for Shawn Coleman, and his family - Tonya his wife, and their Granddaughter, Dez.
Tonya has been a life long friend. She married Shawn in 2006, but they have been together for 25 years. Shawn quickly became a good friend to me because the man is a stand-up kind of guy. He makes friends easily, and he has always helped his friends when in need.
Shawn has a heart of gold and he has worked hard all his life supporting his family. Twenty years in the satellite business and currently custom flooring.
However, Shawn has been diagnosed with metastatic colon adenocarcinoma that has metastasized to both sides of his liver. Surgery is not an option and Shawn will be starting chemo this Monday. So far, Shawn has somehow still been working while in pain and obviously not well.
It is important to me to get the word out to help Shawn and his family because imagine first finding out about the cancer news, while worrying at the same time about how to work, pay the bills, buy food, and buy gas for all the travelling that will occur.
Unfortunately, Shawn won't be able to keep up working with chemo as he has fell ill. While Tonya does work, her income alone can not cover rent, gas, groceries, and medicines. She may be required to take time off for appointments and to support their Granddaughter, who has been living with them full-time for multiple years.
Shawn Colman once held the Strong Man title in Ohio many moons ago. He truly is a strong, good man. Even the strongest people need help once in awhile.
I graciously ask you for donations to help Shawn and his family in this time of need. Any amount that you can share will be helpful. If you yourself are having financial hard times, you can still help by sharing, sharing, and sharing this request for help.
All funds will strictly be used to help fight the cancer and bring relief to ensure that while living through this harsh time, there is a home with electricity, heat, and food. Also, to aid the extra expense of traveling and any uncovered medicines and/or treatments. Peace of mind will help in the battle against this terrible disease.
I would like to thank you for reading this, considering the situation and helping out with funds and/or by sharing. I will keep you all updated.
One last note: Shawn has called about social security disability but dosn't even get an intake appointment until August. So help is needed as soon as possible. Thank you, and lets all keep Shawn, Tonya, and Dez in our thoughts and prayers.
