Cancer awareness: help us support Mum

Hi, my name is Gabi i’m 20 years old and I’ve created this go fund me for my mum.
This is her story
My mum is 61 years old and worked 6 days a week, trying her hardest to make ends meet. Mum has dedicated her whole life to helping people and always putting herself last. She is a real life guardian angel that has touched the hearts of so many lives. At the end of last year my mum had a pain and felt like she had slept awkwardly. The pain got so bad she ended up going to A&E. She was given an emergency bed and was suspected to have a blood clot. Our thanks go out to the NHS staff who saw her as quickly as possibly and helped to the best of their ability. She had tests and bloods done and on Christmas eve, my dads birthday, my mum was diagnosed with incurable lung cancer. It spread to her lymph nodes and spine. She had to quit work that she loved and undergo treatment. After multiple chemotherapy, radiotherapy and ongoing immunotherapy sessions, ongoing bone injections and ongoing test, scans and investigations, the cancer in her lymph nodes has stopped growing. This felt like the first deep breathe we were all able to take in a year. She is still undergoing multiple treatments and discussions and tests. We hope to find her the best treatment possible, one option being the Mayo Clinic in America and Charité – Universitätsmedizin in Berlin. These hospital are renowned for its expertise and care in cancer treatment. We would do anything to get her treatment here but it is just not something we are able to do by ourselves. This world is cruel and no one deserves to go through any of this. But this evil disease has taken over the one person who I know doesn’t deserve it. Even on her lowest days, she still puts us first. We send our prayers, wishes and love to those living the same story as us, or similar. Whether it be £1 or a prayer, we would be grateful of any support you guys would be able to provide for our mum, wife, sister, auntie, and friend. We want to get her the best treatment possible and show her how she should’ve been treated on this earth in the first place. We hope to show her the good things this world has to offer and all of the things she’s missed out on doing.
