Cancer and unexpected impact

Donation protected
I've been fighting this dreadful disease for 4 years. Specifically, I'm fighting nonHodgkins Lymphoma. This fight impacts anyone you live with or are close to.

I was a CA RN for many years. In 2008, I had a sudden Brain Tumor successfully treated. What no one bothered to tell me was that a CT scan, ordered to rule out any metastatic disease, was already suggestive of my current Lymphoma. I began to be steadily more ill in 2010 and simply couldn't get a Physician to pay attention. I got progressively sicker, changed doctors to some outstanding ones at Mission Hospital and finally got my diagnosis of St 3/4 nonHodgkins Lymphoma in 2015.

I currently live in NV with my Husband and 2 large Senior aging rescue dogs. We live in a home owned by one of my Husband's daughters. We are both on fixed incomes. Cable TV is our only source of entertainment. We haven't eaten anywhere but home for years.

In spite of decent health insurance, each year brings new deductibles and copays. Credit cards get maxed and credit ratings suffer.  Reserve funds for emergency erode.

I have no family able to help. Being sick and subsequently isolated living in NV, I don't have friends to ask either.

We've adapted as much as we can. Monthly expenses require juggling and any unexpected expense, like an appliance repair or Vet bill can be catastrophic. The notion that struggling Seniors don't eat well is very real. Skipping meals to save money is sometimes necessity. So is juggling of medication.

For many years, I was involved in large dog rescue in CA. My focus, in much better financial times, were the Seniors, those who had been abused and those in dire need of costly Vet care. I spared no expense and my dogs knew for certain they were loved very much. I can't offer my 2 current companions the same guarantee.

I now find myself in a very dark and depressing place. I'm unable to get to my Oncologist in CA and am past due for a number of studies. My car is in need of repair and can't safely make the trip. With the current needed repair, I can't get it smogged or registered. So it sits.

I posted no photo because I look and feel terrible. An additional problem is that most of my natural teeth have simply fallen out, without roots or pulp. My Oncologist is unsure if this is due to my disease or my treatment. Naturally he'd like me to see a Dentist but I don't think he fully understands that I cannot afford it.

I've no choice in my current situation but to reach out and ask for help. This is difficult for me, embarrassing even.

I would be deeply thankful for support, prayers and any donations.
