My name is Matt Roman, sometimes known as just Roman in the music community. I've been a full-time musician playing guitar in many bands and teaching music most of my life. Several years ago I got diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, which is slowly diminishing my playing ability. Before I got over that shock I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I was immediately rushed to the hospital to remove a portion of my colon to catch and remove the cancer in time. I still have Parkinson's as there is no cure. I've depleted all my savings and I'm trying to find funds to cover all the medical bills so I can continue healing from surgery and living with Parkinsons. I am trying to get back to playing and teaching music, but it's never going to be like it was before these life altering events.
