Canadian Chinese Orchestra: Concert Fundraiser

To celebrate the New Year of the Tiger, the Canadian Chinese Orchestra presents to you The Epiphany, our seasonal concert to be held on Saturday, February 26th, 2022, at 7:30pm EST! Streamed live on Youtube, the concert will feature a vibrant selection of performances by the Canadian Chinese Orchestra, the Millennium Chinese Music Workshop, and a showcase of the students in the Seniors Music Learning Program funded by the Government of Ontario. In this concert, the Canadian Chinese Orchestra will be performing many Chinese New Year classics including Joyous (喜洋洋), Dance of the Golden Snake (金蛇狂舞), and Song of Spring (迎春花) to enlighten the atmosphere for the New Year of the Tiger. Our guest The Millennium Chinese Music Workshop will be performing Tomorrow Will be Better (明天会更好) and Blessings (感遇) for a hopeful future. With more than 50 participants from the Senior Music Learning Program, who have been learning to play a variety of Chinese music instruments with CCO’s instructors over the past two months, they will be presenting their fruitful accomplishments through a series of group performances. Come join us and celebrate the joy of making music together with a night of lively Chinese music!

Donations are welcome in support of the Canadian Chinese Orchestra’s various music programs. This includes funding the purchase of new instruments and equipment, enriching the student scholarship and orchestral programs, and covering some expenses of our annual seasonal concerts to ensure that we can continue to offer them to you. We hope you consider helping us reach our goal of $2022, in light of 2022—the new year!
