2025 World Masters Games in Taiwan

Hi, my name is Mark Warburton and I am a Taekwondo athlete & coach in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. I have been competing in the sport since 1994, and in the Masters (33+) age category at an International level since 2016 with great success there and have been invited to compete at the World Masters Games to be held this May in Taipei City.

I will be the only Canadian Taekwondo athlete in attendance. This is a multi-sport event similar to an Olympic Games for older athletes, and the Taekwondo portion will take place on May 28-29.

In order to attend, this event will be completely self funded so I have started a GoFundMe to try and offset the expenses - as being a Taekwondo school owner, having to pay instructors to cover classes for a week would make it difficult for me to self-fund the competition (airfare, accommodations and registration fee)

If anyone is able to assist me in the journey it would be wonderfully appreciated to help me bring an official World medal back to Sarnia for the first time in our sport's history.
