Hi everyone, to those who don't know me, my name is Briana McMahon, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for help for my son, Canaan.

Canaan was born on January 31st, 2025 at just 27 weeks gestation, weighing only 1 lb 15 oz. Since the moment he arrived, he’s been fighting for his life. He's spent every day in the NICU, where he continues to face serious health challenges.

At just 2 weeks old, Canaan underwent a heart procedure, at 6 months old he got a Tracheotomy, and now he has to have surgery to receive a G-tube a d repair 2 hernias. He has been diagnosed with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), also known as infant chronic lung disease, which has left his lungs scarred and struggling to develop.

Despite everything, Canaan is a fighter. He has a very long road ahead of him—and he won’t be able to do it without the proper medical care and equipment once he comes home.

What We Need Help With:

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance

• Home nursing care (insurance may only cover 2 days a week)

• Medical equipment Canaan will need at home
