It's been a tragic month for my family.
My sister lost her 25 year old daughter Aaryn on July 4 in WA state. The tragic loss of her daughter has caused a large amount of bills. Kim, Dave and Olivia (their youngest daughter) flew to WA state within hours of finding out. Flights are horribly expensive from Juneau. Add in weeks of hotels, transporting Aaryn from Seattle to Wenatchee, eating out, car rental, her funeral home viewings, her funeral, cremation etc ... The costs were over $10 grand almost immediately. Due to the circumstances, Dave quit his job in Juneau Alaska and they just made a major relocation back to Washington to be with their other kids and family.
Their home is occupied by a renter until September 2nd and they have to stay with friends. Their home is in need of repairs but they no longer have the funds to make repairs.
In the midst of this, Dave has just had a major heart attack on 8-7 and major heart surgery on 8-8. It will delay him from going to his new job, which is 4 hours away from his family. Kim is grieving so deeply and not ready to work. The family is severely hurting emotionally and financially. Kim, Dave and Olivia need grief counseling. The medical bills are stacking up. They work really hard and never ask for help. They are usually the ones helping others but life has dealt some harsh blows lately. I'm reaching out on their behalf. I know everybody is tapped with their own debts, issues and expenses but anything would help.
