Hello everyone,

I've started this fund-raising initiative (with consent) to support my beloved cousin who has experienced the devastating loss of their family home. On Tuesday, 14 December their new home burned down in a tragic fire. An unimaginable end to this awful year.
This home was a dream come true for Abbey and her two teenage children. It was a new build and bought only in February this year to their extreme delight and pride. Abbey and her family have had beyond their fair share of adversity over recent years with Abbey recovering from a horrific car accident in 2018 where she sustained lifelong injuries.
Thankfully, smoke alarms saved their life and Abbey was able to get her family out alive and physically unharmed. However, they have lost everything. Right before Christmas to boot. The home is insured but it's been realised the rebuild value is quite low so we are hoping with this campaign we can help boost that up so they can cover the cost of their significant loss.
The community support has been incredible and from our family we want to express our deepest gratitude for all the love and care surrounding Abbey and her family right now. They currently have been given a week's worth of temporary emergency accommodation. The process of rebuilding and recovering from the trauma of watching their home go up in flames is going to be a long road.
The family are in good spirits thanks to their unshakeble resilience and positive attitude of "we've lost everything but we still have each other".
If you are able to donate anything, however small, that will help immensely. It's been a tough year for everyone so if you can't spare anything to donate if you could please just share amongst your network, that would be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read, donate and share.
Let's do this, together!!! Abbey, you are dearly loved and cherished and we thank the angels you are all okay ❤
