Help Sophia's parents at this devastating time?
Donation protected
Hi my name is Jess , I am trying to help a friend who has an Autistic daughter in The Shrubberies who has suffered a life changing condition.
Sophia has been diagnosed with a extremely rare neuro vascular disease called MoyaMoya disease this only affects one in a million children.
It’s a progressive disease and there is no cure the causes are strokes as it’s main symptoms which Sophia has suffered more than once.
The only way forward is a brain operation called EDAS procedure
Sophia has both sides of her brain
She had her first bypass last Friday
& sadly had a complication.
She suffered a massive stroke after the operation.
It's left Sophia unable to talk eat unable to toilet herself and being paralysis on her right side.
This is absolutely devastating for her and the whole family as previously she was an able bodied chatty happy little girl who could talk, toilet and enjoyed a happy life.
The family are left completely devastated, they've been in hospital ever since and still has to have another op on the other side or the brain yet.
This disease is absolutely heartbreaking and horrific.
Sophia is still currently in Bristol Childrens Hospital, Sophia's parents are struggling financially and emotionally and would be ever so grateful for any donations at this horrendous time.
