My name is Francesca, and my journey in the United States began with a simple goal: to learn English and experience a new culture.
When I first arrived, I never imagined that this experience would completely change the direction of my life. As I improved my English and immersed myself in the academic environment, I discovered a deep interest in science, particularly biotechnology. Learning about how biology and technology can come together to improve human health inspired me to pursue a future I had never thought was possible for me before.
Today, I am fully committed to that path. In just three years, I am working toward three degrees, pushing myself academically every single semester. This is not easy, but it reflects how strongly I believe in this field and in the impact it can have on people’s lives.
As an international student, however, pursuing education in the U.S. comes with significant financial challenges. I am not eligible for U.S. federal financial aid, and my ability to work is limited by law. While I carefully manage my expenses and remain focused on my studies, the cost of tuition, required health insurance, books, and basic living expenses has become increasingly difficult to sustain on my own.
This fundraiser is not connected to any employment or services. I am simply asking for educational support to help cover the essential costs required to remain enrolled full time and continue progressing toward my degrees.
