Hi everyone,
We're visiting family in British Columbia after just having our first child, and an unexpected turn for the worst has put us in a heart wrenching situation. Our beloved dog Jinx is having a medical emergency back home and requires immediate intervention..
We believe she has a blockage, and will need at the least diagnostic tests, and x-rays and possible surgery. It's a time sensitive emergency and we fear we won't have the funds to cover the cost. She is a very important part of our family. Jinx has been my emotional support dog, my best friend, my everything, we've been through everything together, I'm not ready to lose her. We can't leave, or get there in time to be there to help her ourselves which makes this even more heartbreaking for us. Any help to cover costs would be greatly appreciated.
Thank-you for your kindness
**Update**
We were unable to save Jinx. And greiving. Thank-you for your generous donations. They have helped with covering some of the costs of all the tests she recieved.
She had multiple X-rays
Diagnostic tests
X-ray consultation with specialist
Iv fluids and electrolytes
Pain meds and other meds
Overnight vet care
End of life costs.
we were told she had an obstruction that required anywhere from 6500-8000 for surgery , with an additional 3000-4000 if obstruction damaged the intestine and it also needed to be removed.
Then we had to make the hard decision*
