Can you help amaze Zane this summer...

Zane is my nephew who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in January 2022 at the tender age of 15. In that year he fought fiercely, undergoing 14 cycles of chemotherapy at The Royal Marsden, Sutton, 5.5 wks of proton beam therapy at the UCLH and life altering surgery which removed the soft tissue sarcoma and large part of his pelvis. After a considerable amount of rehabilitation, Zane had started to make up the time he missed as a teenager, starting college, making friends, driving his beloved car. Now on the cusp of adulthood, we were given the devastating news that the cancer has returned and is now terminal. Clinical trials were offered but Zane has refused, choosing instead to enjoy the time he has left without any of the nasty side effects of treatment. The Marsden have advised us to make this summer count and for Zane to experience as much as possible.

We are keen to create special experiences for Zane and memories for us and with your help we can make these possible, funds will also help alleviate the pressure financially on the family.

His siblings have raised money over the past year, Toby raised £541 for The Royal Marsden, Drew ran the London Marathon raising £2,365 for Teenage Cancer Trust and in May this year his Sister Ava donated 13inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust. Zane has asked that any surplus funds be donated to The Royal Marsden. He is also donating his tissue and tumour to The Marsden for scientific research. We are in awe of this young man's bravery and great strength, and wish everyone could have a little Zane in their lives. We will treasure these memories.
