Can You Help a Sweet Dog Who Has Survived Horrors?

Hello! My name is Bruce Krider, and I'm reaching out on behalf of The Puppy Coalition (www.thepuppycoalition.org) with an urgent plea for help.

Bradley, or as we affectionately call him, Bradley Cooper. He's a remarkable 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. Every indication was that he was dumped in the desert while the owners sped away. His unusual fixation about getting into cars was alarming. Beyond being dumped in the desert and left to fend for himself. Then he was dragged into the county shelter on a neck pole by Animal Control and he languished there for months. He became hopeless and wouldn't even raise his head to see people walking by. His brain told him it was no use. Bradley's journey hasn't been easy. He was adopted one day by a kindly elderly couple but they found that they could not provide the kind of home a 2 year old German Shepherd needed. He was brought back to the county three weeks later. Fast forward another three weeks and he was adopted by a young man who took him home to a house with three cats and a step-father that didn't approve of bringing in a dog. So once again he was shelter-bound until The Puppy Coalition secured him from the young man. So Bradley suffered two incarcerations at the county shelter and had been placed on the euthanasia list not once but twice before we stepped in to rescue him. It's heartbreaking to think about the cruelty and neglect he endured before finding his way to safety.

Since becoming his foster, Bradley has shown incredible resilience and spirit. Despite his past traumas, he's friendly with other dogs and people, and his affectionate nature melts hearts wherever he goes. However, our current fostering situation has become impossible fue to obligations which take me out of town. We chose Coastal k9 German Shepherd Rescue of San Diego County. While he's safe there, the daily cost, including walks, amounts to approximately $80.

Bradley's recent neutering and medication regimen have worked wonders in alleviating some anxieties and hyperactivity developed after two incarcerations in the county shelter. With the right support and a loving environment, he's blossoming into the companion he was always meant to be.

We're reaching out to compassionate individuals like you who believe in second chances and want to make a difference in the life of an underdog. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to Bradley's care and give him the chance he deserves. Every dollar brings us closer to finding Bradley the loving family he so desperately needs.

Bradley's journey is far from over, but with your help, we can ensure that it's filled with love, security, and endless tail wags. Please consider donating and sharing his story with your friends and family. Together, we can give Bradley the happy ending he's been waiting for.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Warm regards,
Bruce Krider
