Can You Find it in Your Heart to Donate

Story

Hello- My name is Melissa and I am working to help a family that is near and dear to me- The Hobbs family. With the economy and everything being strained, I’m asking you to donate whatever it is you can to help this amazing family out. Late last year Jason was diagnosed with coronary artery disease. One day recently he felt some symptoms that didn’t feel right so he made an appointment. It was then that he learned he would need a heart cath put in. The Hobbs had no idea that going in for a heart cath would lead down this path of staring triple bypass straight in the face. Jason went in on Monday the 20th for a heart catheterization after 1.5 hours the dr. walked in and told us that stints could not be placed having 100% blockage in one artery, 96% and 90% in the others. The only option is a triple bypass. As a result, Jason can not drive for 1 month after surgery, he will be out of work at least 6 weeks-1st week is all hospital- No pushing, pulling or anything like that for 3 months. Unfortunately the family will not have an income for the duration of Jason’s recovery. Anything helps. He works for an amazing company- unfortunately its a small company that doesn't offer anything beyond FMLA protection. Jason didn't elect short term disability on his last enrollment, so he would not receive that either. As of now surgery is scheduled for March 21st but can change at anytime. If you could find it in your heart to help Jason’s heart and family down this difficult road to recovery, it would take so much pressure off the family and would be very much appreciated.
