Can We Please Help Irene?

Hi, my name is Cat Woods. I am the middle daughter of Irene and the late, Caleb Weller. Very recently my mom, Irene, was attacked in her home and came close to losing her life. The attacker is locked up and awaiting trial for this awful crime. In the midst of her attack, several things in her home were damaged or destroyed, including a tv, lamps, rugs, etc. The man that attacked her was also supposed to replace her walkways in and out of her home. He originally took the old walkways out in May but never replaced them. When it rains Irene is stuck home as the walkways are all mud and very slick.

By early July, this man, whom Irene really tried to help, literally tried to take her life. Irene, ever strong in her faith and her family, is still with us thank God. She was always a present and active parent, teacher, family member and friend. She continues to be the most humble person with the biggest heart. I know she will never ask for the help she needs for herself as she prefers to be the one doing the helping. The quickest way to help get Irene back on her feet is to reach out and see if we cannot come together to help a truly selfless woman. Anyone who has ever met Irene can testify to her kind and caring nature.

Please, can we help my mom focus on her healing and let us take care of the rest. She is on a fixed income and it will take a long time for her to replace everything. Anything helps and all funds will be going directly to Irene. Thank you from all our family.
