Thank you for taking time to read my story.  I will do my best to keep it brief .

This year has brought so much change to all of us. Being quarantined and alone  for so many months has allowed for creative expansion, and to take some steps along the pathway of dreams to opening a small store front sweet shop. 

So, completely by chance, but after a fantastic reading..... I have been presented with the opportunity to open the shop. As this has happened so quickly, my new dream is to host a pop up holiday candy shop in the location I hope to make home to the business.  Thats why Im here on this amazing platform to ask for support in this effort, knowing that  with your donations, making the leap forward in such a short space of time will be the most worthwhile part of this challenging year. 

It has been a dream for the past few years to open an old fashioned sweet shop in a small neighborhood that the establishment can become a part of . Not only is the area perfect so is the fairytale styled building that I hope to acquire.  The hurdle now is to raise sufficient funds to set up the location in time for holiday, just a few weeks away. Not only am I seeking funds for the furnishing of the store but for the products I will need to host the holiday pop up prior to opening the shop so soon. 
This week was spent researching product availability just to double double check that there is time to order, and there is. Paper work has been filed so its go time . In the most unprecedented year of turbulence it does seem like a strange time to be starting a new venture. But this is a hopeful and happy endeavor, to secure a space that will in time open its doors and welcome all neighbors young and old. A friendly place to browse and chat, pick up gifts and treats. A tiny boutique candy shop filled from wall to wall with a handsome collection of curated candy and old favorites alike. We will permanently be on the lookout for taste testers.  There will be plenty of drop in events and local fundraisers, once the quarantine restrictions lift and until then in store shopping will be for a few guests at a time, but phone orders will be welcome.   

Having had years to dream up and plan this project and now have it be within reach,  is beyond exciting.  With support from YOU, the generous person who took the time to read this story and to contribute there is not a big enough  thanks.  There is not a big enough space  say THANK YOU to each person here, but truly and with deep gratitude, thank you for reading this and thank you for supporting the new business . Come in for some candy, stay for the company , we look forward to opening soon.
