My Journey

In May I had my regular mammogram and everything appeared to be fine, but in February I found a lump so I went through the process to get in for more testing, mammograms, an ultrasound and a biopsy. On March 3rd I was diagnosed with breast cancer, so the next few weeks begin a whirlwind of appointments, tests, meeting my new Oncologist and surgeon to start the planning and path we are going to take. I am so thankful I found this and went in when I did, it may be what helps to save my life.

Ladies, please check your breasts and do your self exams.

March 24th I started my first chemotherapy treatment and I am so blessed and humbled by all the love and support I have behind me. My husband, my family, my friends, my amazing managers at work and all my Applebuddies.
