Cam Austin Raynor—son, brother, friend, and talented sports player—died at 21 years old on Friday, October 28, 2016 at his family home in Spokane Valley, Washington.
Born on May 30, 1995 to Todd W Raynor and Raelene P Twite, Cam was known for his quick wit and humorous personality. He was loved playing sports whether it was golf, wrestling, hockey, baseball, basketball, or some game he made up.
Cam was a very loving and social person, who loved nothing more than to make sure everyone was as happy as possible. He was able to tell the greatest stories and jokes lighting up the whole room. He had an easy, bright smile ready at all times. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Cam had passion, an intense sense of empathy, and a competitive streak. As a young man, Cam suffered several concussions and battled chronic depression for several years. He chose to end his life halting his pain and sadness. He leaves behind by his father, mother, step-father, David Marsh; his older sister, Kaleigh Raynor; his grandparents, Jack & Catherine Raynor, Raymond Twite, and Howard & Marcia Rowley. He is welcomed to heaven by more love, compassion, and understanding than he was able to accept while he was here with us. He had touched so many lives and reminded us family and friendship should be cherished dearly.
Funeral services will be held at the Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory First United Methodist Church at 1315 N Pines Rd in Spokane Valley, WA at 2:00pm on Friday, November 4, 2016. All are welcome to come. There will also be a light-up balloon release at North Pines Middle School on Friday, November 4, 2016 time will be announced at the ceremony. We would like to light up the sky with positive memories of Cam so he can see them from heaven.
All dontation go toward Cam's funeral. His family appreciates any and all support offered.
