My name is Candy. I am camdyns grandma. I am fundraising for him and his mother Amy.
On sept 10 he has a bicycle accident where he was taken to the ER. A catscan was done and the doctor found a massive tumor on his left kidney. He was transported to the childrens cancer hospital in Iowa city by ambulance. On sept 13 he underwent a 7 hour surgery to remove the kidney and tumor. They took samples of 7 lymph nodes. 2 came back positive for the cancer and more imaging showed it has spread to his lungs as well. It is a very aggressive cancer and at stage 4 He will require radiation and chemo which will be 10 days of radiation then 6 months of chemo. The treatments will be in Iowa city so there will be travel expenses. Amy camdyns mom is a single mom and sole provider for Camdyn and his sister Chrystina. She will be out of work for a while with all the treatments he has to go through. Anything you can donate will be grately appreciated.
