Starting in July of 2019 I began experience lots of ear troubles, dysfunctions, and facial/neck spasming. I was originally diagnosed with TMJ and Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. However, after a series of scans, tests, and appointments, my doctors discovered two large cysts in my sinuses (left maxillary and right sphenoid). Sphenoid cysts seem to be pretty rare and can affect the trigeminal nerve and other functions of the head, nose, ears, and neck. 

At the beginning of all of this, I had to hit a 3,000 deductible so my first round of tests were essentially not covered by insurance. And furthermore, I’ve had to pay giant copays and bills because most of services and tests were only partially covered by insurance. Because of these time consuming and financially draining appointments, I’ve had to temporarily refrain from performing and making music. I’m most likely going to be having surgery in the near future to resolve my issues and can hopefully return back to normal and continue to perform and do what I love. 

Even reaching a small portion of the goal of this campaign would help exponentially. With all of this going on, I’ve been desperately trying to keep my head above water and not drown in debt and that’s why I’m reaching out to my friends and family to help in any way they can.
