My Mission Trip to Ghana

Most of you probably know me (or my parents :-), but if not...
My name is Camryn, and I am a junior in high school. I am raising funds for a mission trip to Ghana, West Africa, with the upperclassmen in my church's youth group.
Some of the best experiences of my life so far have been with Plainfield Christian Church during high school. I have made some of my best friends, have seen God do some pretty amazing things and luckily have gotten to take part in a few of them.
Although I don’t believe it is necessary for a person to go on an out-of-state mission trip to be a worker for Christ, I’m super excited that we get to go out of the country to see how other people live and serve God, and I can’t wait because we get to work with kids! We will be running a VBS, fixing up houses, and basically whatever the people there need us to do, we will do.
I am asking for your financial support, but I am also asking if you'll pray for me (and my parents) especially since I will be traveling overseas.
The cost of the trip is $3,000 which covers a lot of things. I have to get a passport and lots of shots before I can even leave the country. It also includes my plane ticket and my food while in Africa.
I’ll be trying to babysit and find other ways to work through the spring to raise money on my own. Thank you for supporting such an important experience in my life!
