Hi , my name is Dray I’m 14 years old and in July 2026 I will be participating in a 4 week volunteering expedition to Borneo. During my time there I will be living as part of a rural community and working with locals to create sustainable change and a long lasting positive impact.

I will be travelling with camps international, a social enterprise who carry out trips like this one to Borneo, to protect the environment and support the local communities.

In May 2025 I will be climbing Ben Nevis to help fundraise for this trip. This will be more of a challenge for me as for as long as I can remember I suffered constant hip pain due to having twisted shins, I have just undergone tibial de-rotations on both of my legs throughout the past year and will have just fully recovered from the surgeries when I do my climb.

I will also be participating in other fundraising activities such as making and selling homemade fudge (which is delicious by the way). So I kindly ask you to sponsor me so I can have the opportunity to help others less fortunate and learn about their culture and ways of life helping towards making substainsble change for the people & widlife. I feel this would be a once in a lifetime experience!
