Hi, my name is Noah O'Brien and I am a 15 year old year 10 student, currently studying for my GCSEs. I am asking for your help to raise money for a once in a lifetime conservation trip to Kenya in the summer of 2026.

Camps International have offered my school an amazing experience to go to Kenya for a month, to help with the conservation of wildlife and to help local tribal communities. I will be helping these communities by helping to build homes, classrooms and school equipment, such as desks so children do not have to sit on the floor. I am also going to help protect the local crops by constructing ethical elephant derents, which can also protect the coastal forests around them. I will also be helping to catch and de-worm goats for the local villagers. Geography and Biology are my favourite subjects at school and I am excited to have the chance to participate in this ecological work.

Along side the conservation work I will be able to learn some of the local Maasai language and tribal culture. I also get to go to Tsavo National Park to see the extraordinary wildlife there.

It has been a dream of mine to become a Marine Biologist since a young child. In the final week of the trip I get to do a PADI Open Water Diving qualification, which allows me to dive up to 18 meters. This will be a great help towards a career in Marine Biology. I will also get to see some of the beautiful sea life out in the Indian Ocean.

The expedition will also help me learn many valuable life lessons and skills for my future. It will also help to expand my CV to improve my chances of getting into good universities and getting better employment in the future.

I am hoping to fundraise all of the money for the trip myself by:

• Using my pocket money/savings

• Running a sponsored 10K run

• Selling old unused belongings

• Work a part time job

• Doing odd jobs for family and friends

• Organising events
