Hi,

My name is Miles, and I’m raising money for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Borneo in summer 2027 with Camps International. This amazing opportunity will help me develop my physical and emotional skills, while also allowing me to make a real difference to local communities and the environment. 

During the four-week expedition, I’ll be working on projects such as improving schools, supporting local communities, and helping with rainforest and wildlife conservation. These projects are really important because deforestation and species extinction make it harder to protect these incredible ecosystems.

The trip will be a big challenge, but I’m excited to push myself, learn new life skills, and help create positive change for both people and wildlife in Borneo.

I’ve already started fundraising by offering gardening and car washing services with a friend in my village. We’ve raised over £100 each in just the first few weeks! I hope this shows my determination and willingness to work hard to reach my goal. 

To prepare for the physical challenges of the expedition, I’m also setting myself personal goals. My first challenge is to run 5km every day in November. It’s going to be tough, but I’m confident I can do it! Any support you can give would mean a lot and help me get closer to this incredible opportunity.
