Mary Ellen & Larry Davenport have lost their house and possessions to the California Camp fire. They lost everything other than what's few items they may have saved.  It's hard to estimate how much assistance is needed to restore one's community life.  My estimates are probably low- they are in need of cash immediately just for present living.  The fire is still not under control.  Fortunately they are  being sheltered by friends who are in a safe area.  Only time will tell when they will be able to go back to Paradise to start rebuilding their lives.
