On the evening of April 5th, 2022, a disastrous tornado struck the Black Creek neighborhood in Pembroke, Georgia, impacting my family tremendously. While my parents, brother, and nieces are recovering (despite sustaining minor injuries), the tornado ultimately destroyed their home, displacing them for at least the next year while remodeling ensues. My family is devastated as they've been uprooted from their everyday lives.

At this time, they will need to pay for temporary shelter, transportation, clothing, medical supplies that were unfortunately damaged, and all other day-to-day needs. As this is an unimaginable loss, the emotional and mental turmoil has affected my family immensely.
