Today, we raise our voices for Jennifer Quintero, an exemplary Venezuelan mother and a tireless fighter. Jennifer has dedicated her life to personal growth and to providing the best for her only son, achieving two university degrees through hard work: Accounting and Business Administration. She has always been a present, independent, active mother passionate about sports. Her greatest wish is to see her son achieve his professional goals.

Recently, Jennifer's life took an unexpected turn. After a medical check-up, she received a diagnosis of stage IIB cervical cancer. While doctors have told us that timely treatment offers hope, every day counts. Without the necessary chemotherapy, brachytherapy, and radiotherapy in the coming months, the progression of this aggressive disease could have irreversible consequences, robbing her of the opportunity to see her son grow up and to continue living her life.

The reality is that accessing this vital treatment in Venezuela is a monumental challenge. In a country where the economic situation is extremely difficult, asking for help is an act of desperation and profound humility. The medical and transportation costs are an almost insurmountable barrier for our family. Every day that passes without treatment, the silent advance of this disease becomes a darker shadow over the lives of Jennifer and her son.

Queridos amigos, familiares y comunidad solidaria,

Hoy alzamos la voz por Jennifer Quintero, una madre venezolana ejemplar y una luchadora incansable. Jennifer ha dedicado su vida a su superación personal y a brindar lo mejor a su único hijo, logrando con esfuerzo dos carreras universitarias: Contaduría y Administración de Empresas. Siempre ha sido una madre presente, independiente, activa y apasionada por el deporte. Su mayor anhelo es ver a su hijo alcanzar sus metas profesionales.

Recientemente, la vida de Jennifer dio un giro inesperado. Tras un chequeo médico, recibió el diagnóstico de cáncer de cuello uterino en estadio IIB. Si bien los médicos nos han dicho que un tratamiento oportuno ofrece esperanza, cada día cuenta. Sin la quimioterapia, braquiterapia y radioterapia necesarias en los próximos meses, el avance de esta agresiva enfermedad podría tener consecuencias irreversibles, arrebatándole la oportunidad de ver crecer a su hijo y de seguir viviendo su vida.

La realidad es que acceder a este tratamiento vital en Venezuela es un desafío monumental. En un país donde la situación económica es extremadamente difícil, pedir ayuda es un acto de desesperación y humildad profunda. Los costos médicos y de traslado son una barrera casi insuperable para nuestra familia. Cada día que pasa sin tratamiento, el avance silencioso de esta enfermedad se convierte en una sombra más oscura sobre la vida de Jennifer y su hijo.
