Pedirle su ayuda financiera ha sido una decisión muy difícil para la familia Ruiz-Sierra. Con la nueva realidad que hemos encontrado estamos pidiendo sus donaciones para que nuestro querido padre, esposo, y abuelo pueda tener la oportunidad de compartir muchos años más con familia y amigos. Sú nombre es Benjamin Ruiz Mendoza cariñosamente conocido como "Bengie" ó Mr. Ruiz por sus estudiantes. El es conocido por ser un hombre cariñoso, peleador incansable, un buen miembro en la comunidad, y por su servicio en academia, un maestro concernido por educación. Un individuo querido y apreciado por todos quiénes le conocen.
Nuestro padre fue diagnosticado con Cáncer en octubre 22, 2019. El cancer está localizado entre la quijada, el cuello y el espacio infratemporal. Debido a la localización de estos carcinomas (tumores) y la complexión de este proceso médico no será hecho en Puerto Rico. La operación será realizada en la Universidad Hospital de Miami y Clínicas.
El seguro médico de papi no cubre todo el proceso quirúrgico. La cirugía es tan complicada qué no pueden hacerla en Puerto Rico. Por tal razón, el costo de la cirugía es aproximadamente $100,000 dólares.
Sú regalo será grandemente apreciado de nuestros corazones y una bendición para nuestro padre. De favor ayúdenos ofrecerle la posibilidad de continuar sú presencia y continuar con su querida familia.

Asking for your financial help is a difficult decision for the Ruiz-Sierra family. With our new
found reality we are asking for your donations so that our beloved father, husband and
grandfather has the opportunity to have and share many more years with his family and friends.
Our father’s name is Benjamin Ruiz Mendoza affectionately known as “Bengie” or Mr. Ruiz to
his students. He is known for being a caring man, a tireless fighter, a good community member,
and to his service in academia, a caring teacher in education. An individual who is loved and
appreciated by all who know him.
Our father was diagnosed with cancer on October 22, 2019. The cancer is located between the
area of the jaw, neck and infratemporal space. Due to the locations of the carcinomas (tumors)
and the complexity of the procedure it will not be performed in Puerto Rico. This complicated
operation will be carried out at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics.
My father’s medical insurance plan does not cover the entire operation. The surgery must be
performed away from Puerto Rico due to its intricacy. Because of this, the cost of surgery is
approximately $100,000.00 dollars.
Your gift will be greatly appreciated from our hearts and a true blessing for our father. Please
help us in offering him the possibility in continuing his presence and guidance in our loving
