To those that don't know me, Thank you for taking the time to read/ share this.

Hi, My name's Emily, I'm an EMT in Maryland. Who earlier this year was diagnosed with Clear Cell, Endometrial Cancer.  After a total hysterectomy at 31 and currently 5 out of 6 rounds of chemotherapy, to say 2019 has been a rough year is a bit of an understatement. On to the full story.

Waaaay back in January (it was probably going on longer than that but that's my rough estimate) of this year I was starting to have a lot of health issues that began to effect my jobs. I was tired all the time, moody, having a hard time concentrating, in pain all the time and well a whole lot of feminine issues. Between January and March I began eating up my PTO and sick days because I was unable to make it through a whole day at work. For awhile I thought that these symptoms were all just in my head. Until while at work one day I couldn't stay awake, my blood sugar was high, my blood pressure and HR were very high and other things I won't talk about here were happening. So I head to Urgent care after work, there I get a ultrasound and blood work done. The doctor shrugs it off as my PCOS acting up. Gives me pills and books a follow up appoint for 2 weeks from then with my Gynocologist.

April 15th,  I meet with my lady doctor. She seems concerned about whats been going on and wants to do a biopsy. I don't think a lot about it and go about my next couple days. Go to work and carry on as normal. Exactly 7 days later on April 22nd another doctor calls to give me the news. She said, "We were definitely not expecting that." I was like.. Uh yeah me either, the next day I was already scheduled for my 1st ct-scan. From there everything happened quickly, I moved in with 2 of the most amazing friends on the planet, Then I was scheduled to meet with an OBGYN Oncology Surgeon, About 2 weeks after being diagnosed I was already about to undergo surgery. I got through a total hysterectomy and recovery in about 6 weeks. Was then put through a round of egg harvesting since I was allowed to keep my ovaries. That took some time. Was then scheduled to get a port insertion so I could receive 6 rounds of Chemo.

The first couple rounds were not great but I pushed through them and got to the dreaded round number 4,  which landed me a 3 day stent in the hospital with Neutrapenic Fever, where I got to get a blood transfusion. Luckily I has already left Maryland to stay with my brother in Virginia while going through the rest of treatment. This pushed my last 2 rounds of chemo back by 3 weeks until my levels were back within a "healthy" range. That ment I was "officially" immuno-compramised.

--Through all this I was lucky enough to receive Short Term Disability through work. Well I have exhausted my Short Term and still am unable to return to work until my levels have time to recover which should be within a couple weeks of my last round of Chemo which is set as of not for 11/14.

*I set up this Go Fund Me because I now have to wait to get approval to receive Long term Disability, I have no idea how long this will take. I have Medical bills piling up and still have to survive until I am allowed to go back to work. Which as of right now is Dec. 15. So effectively that is 2 months worth of Bills.

Car Payment- 446.00 x2
