In honour of Vanessa- Mental Health Support
Vanessa was a Genuine, Kind and Ambitious mental health and addiction therapist and person.
She dreamed of helping others navigate the complexities of life, offering hope to those who felt powerless. But despite her dedication to others, she struggled silently for years under the weight of emotional abuse and trauma. Tragically, the pain became too much, and we lost her.
This loss was not just a tragedy; it was a call to action. My sister’s life and dreams were stolen by circumstances that too many people face every day—trauma, mental health struggles, and the lack of a support system.
We need to recognise the impact of our actions—how trauma can shatter the spirit and strip away hope. This is a movement to honour her bravery and martyrdom.
Abuse doesn’t always leave visible wounds, but its effects are just as real and life-altering.
These funds will go toward providing:
Therapy: Offering free or subsidised mental health care to survivors of abuse who might otherwise go unheard.
Safe Spaces: Helping individuals leave toxic environments by providing temporary housing, financial aid, and resources to rebuild their lives.
Raising awareness about the impact of emotional and religious abuse, creating a society that prioritises empathy and healing.
Empowerment Programs: Offering workshops and mentorship to help survivors regain their independence and confidence.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
