Written by Andrew & Christi Kalldin, the parents of Logan Elkins:
Our son's name is Logan Elkins. He is the nicest, kindest and most gentle young man you could ever meet. Currently, he is preparing for a bone marrow transplant to cure his Lymphoma. He was first diagnosed in August 2015 and was treated for 6 months. He was in remission for only 8 months before the lymphoma returned. He has been receiving chemo since November 2016 and the next step is the transplant which is scheduled in April 2017.
During this process, he will spend four weeks in Medical City Dallas and then come home to 24/7 care for several weeks after that time.
Our son is extremely upbeat and positive, as he has been throughout this whole ordeal. We are extremely proud of him!
This has been a very difficult time for our family. Any support you show will be a true blessing to us.
Thank you,
Andrew and Christi Kalldin
