Campaign Fund for NVP For WFP Election

Hello FaceBook Family and Friends,

I am officially announcing my candidacy for re-election to the office of AFGE’s National Vice President for Women’s and Fair Practices. In serving as AFGE’s NVP for WFP over the last 3 1/2 years, I have worked consistently with AFGE’s Human Rights Committee, AFGE’s YOUNG Committee, and many of you as AFGE Leaders to help amplify WFP’s Programs, Trainings, and Resources for the empowerment and representation of our Members. We have served together and advocated for the different diversities that our AFGE Leaders and Members represent in order to ensure that our Union is in fact an inclusive Union, and a Union that represents all people in solidarity. I have continued to be the voice for our AFGE Members by maintaining integrity and accountability on the National Executive Council and at the National Level of AFGE.

Throughout my 22 years of activism, I’ve always been taught that standing up for what’s right may not always be easy, but it is always right. At the 2018 National Convention, the delegates of AFGE voted me as their NVP for WFP, and shortly after convention the time came for me to stand up for what’s right, so I stood up against the abuse of power, against the corruption and cronyism, against discrimination and retaliation. I stood up for each of you and I stood up for our members because they deserve better, you deserve better, our Union deserves better.

Today, I’m asking for you to stand for WE, to stand for AFGE, and to stand with me, Jeremy Lannan, by re-electing me as AFGE’s NVP for WFP at the 2022 National Convention this June in Orlando, Florida.
