Creating Tomorrow's Doers, Dreamers, and Makers
PS 770 is a diverse and vibrant public elementary school in Brooklyn, N.Y. Each year, the PTA raises money to fill the considerable gap between what the school is given to cover the basics and what the school actually needs to ensure that our students reach their full potential.
With your donation, we can enrich the learning environment at PS 770. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000, which will provide our students with visual arts residencies as well as STEM programming, workshops, and field trips. Your donation will be matched by a $5,000 grant from the Cole-Belin Education Foundation. Please give!

Visual Arts
We are thrilled to be a partner school of the arts education group ART YARD BKLYN. Residencies will offer our students access to contemporary visual arts and foster a range of skills, from art technique to critical thinking. Integral to each session is a critiquing process that helps develop self-expression, confidence, and public speaking skills. The residencies will culminate with a gallery exhibition of our students’ works. This program was hugely successful in 2017-2018, and we look forward to welcoming ART YARD’s teaching artists into the school once again.

STEM Programming
Pedagogical research shows that a well-rounded STEM education creates critical thinkers and empowers the next generation of innovators. STEM education also helps to bridge the ethnic and gender gaps often found in math and science disciplines. PS770’s inquiry-based STEM curriculum has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. This year, we hope to set the bar higher by introducing robotics, coding, and 3D printing. Providing a high-quality STEM education is a vital step in ensuring our students will thrive in a fast-moving global economy.
