Campaign for my friend Marco

Hello, my name is Jimena Dupré and I have decided to start this campaign to help my friend Marco with his costly illness.

Life has amazing ways of connecting people. Imagine finding out that your childhood friend, who you hadn't heard from in more than 20 years, has been diagnosed with leukemia.

You immediately seek to contact him and want to know how he is. You are happy to be in touch again, to talk about old times but at the same time it hurts you to know that he has been having such a bad time and above all you are worried to know that he is fighting with such a complicated illness.

You immediately want to help him but you realize that a little help is not enough, he needs much more than what you alone are capable of doing for him.

Marco is 43 years old, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia type B, on February 14, 2022. He was admitted to the Luis Vernaza hospital in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where he received radiotherapy and chemotherapy. They were very hard months both economically and psychologically for him and his entire family.

Marco is a man of great faith and with an incredibly positive and cheerful attitude. He is currently in Spain, where he will receive a bone marrow transplant.

We all know how important good nutrition is, especially when you have a debilitating disease and how expensive treatment can be. Since Marco was diagnosed, he has not been able to continue working, which makes it even more difficult for him to have a well-balanced diet. It is hard to have to face an illness and even harder when you do not have the necessary resources. But that's what friends and all the good people in this world are for.

I hope I count on you to help with whatever you can. Your donation will help Marco with his monthly living expenses in Spain for the duration of his treatment and recovery.

Hola, mi nombre es Jimena Dupré y he decidido iniciar esta campaña para ayudar a mi amigo Marco con su costosa enfermedad.

La vida tiene maneras asombrosas de conectar a las personas.

Imagina enterarte que tu amigo de la infancia, del cual no habías escuchado hace más de 20 años, ha sido diagnosticado con leucemia.

De inmediato buscas contactarlo y quieres saber cómo está? Te alegras de estar nuevamente en contacto, recordar y reírse de los viejos tiempos pero al mismo tiempo te duele saber que ha estado pasando tan mal y sobretodo te preocupa saber que está luchando con una enfermedad tan costosa.

De inmediato quieres ayudarlo pero te das cuenta que con una pequeña ayuda no es suficiente. Así que decides recurrir a más ayuda.

Esta es la historia de mi amigo Marco Zuluaga, quien necesita de nuestra ayuda y cada granito de arena cuenta.

Marco tiene 43 años, fue diagnosticado con Leucemia Linfoblástica Aguda tipo B, el 14 de Febrero de 2022. Estuvo internado en el hospital Luis Vernaza de Guayaquil, Ecuador, donde recibió radioterapia y quimioterapia. Fueron meses muy duros tanto económica como psicológicamente para él y toda su familia.

Marco es un hombre de mucha fé y con una actitud increíblemente positiva y alegre.

Actualmente Marco se encuentra en España, donde recibirá un trasplante de médula.

Tu donación ayudará a Marco con los gastos mensuales de mantención en España el tiempo que dure su tratamiento y recuperación.

Todos sabemos lo importante que es una buena alimentación y los gastos que conlleva siempre una enfermedad. Desde que Marco fue diagnosticado no ha podido seguir trabajando con lo cual se le dificulta aún más llevar una alimentación buena y balanceada. Es duro tener que afrontar una enfermedad y más duro aún cuando no tienes los recursos necesarios. Pero para eso estamos los amigos y todas las personas buenas en este mundo.
