Campaign for Michael Corey and Targeted Teachers

Mr. Michael Corey has endured a trying 100+ days of questioning of his ethics, alleged racial attitudes and unfair accusations of bias in his classroom. He is still in the process of defending his career and pension against these ridiculous allegations. Please join my teacher, Mr. Corey and other (unnamed) teachers who are enduring a hostile work environment in which administrators undermine veteran teachers, their educational values and go against the educational mission of the school. We are looking to raise $20,000 to fight for our teacher’s First Amendment right in the classroom and to fight for their right to teach and do what they do best.


This GoFundMe account me account not only signifies an investment, by a community of friends, students, and colleagues in the future of Mr. Michael Corey and the students he cares for, but it also represents this community's interest in developing a legal framework that can benefit other teachers who have either already been unjustly forced out of GW or who are potentially next in line.


The funds that you donate to this effort will be used to support a capable legal effort that will not only defend Mr. Michael Corey but will also be used bring accountability to the individuals that have been able to pursue personal agendas against Mr. Michael Corey and that have watched a good man suffer.
