Thank you for stopping by. I am reluctantly creating this GoFundMe page in order to generate some funds to give to my mother after my father, Richard Cleveland passed away on 10/15/2020. (He was 63 years old...So young!)

He battled Throat Cancer, Pulmonary Fibrosis and a failing Right Ventricle for years. He fought his A$$ off for himself and his family. He had been through so much more than that too and we were hoping he would be able to fight this a while longer but that was not the case. He left behind 5 grand kids and an awesome wife. He also left behind some seriously medical bills and a dent in my mothers savings account. I was not aware of this until now. I feel bad I cannot offer the full financial support I want to give so these donations will directly go towards the funeral and medical expenses as well as help her make this difficult transition with out her best friend and husband. My main goal is to make sure my mom has less stress and worry about the future so the moves we are trying to make I think will bring us all closer together and reduce her bills/stress. 

Move 1 - We are going to go through her house and sell whatever can be sold that does not have immediate emotional ties or is anchored down! 

Move 2 - We plan to sell her mobile home that she bought to take care of my father in his worst times. She deserves so much more than that. Place her remaining personal effects into storage and move her into our current house. We are hoping to make this happen by Feb 2021. 

Move 3 - The most important one of all. We are going to sell our house which we thought we may never do and build a house that has a Mother-in-Law suite attached. This is something we had previously discussed and with all that has happened recently, it's time to act. We found a community that offers a model that provides the privacy and security that we have been looking for. 

After seeing my dad slowly fade away in assisted living/hospice care I want to make sure as my mom gets older she has a better living scenario than that. I was beyond appalled at the cost and living conditions he was stuck in. It hurt all of our hearts!

I know my father is looking down smiling seeing how we are coming together to help my mom. They were together since they were 12 years old! I can only imagine the pain she is feeling. She has been our rock my whole life and she does so much for other people and never asks for a dime! This quote is my mom in a nutshell. “True service is when you serve others without expecting anything in return.”

She has put on so many fundraisers for people and raised hundreds of thousands for notable causes! I feel the universe has something in store for her now and maybe a bit of community support can help get her back on her feet and raise her spirits. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this honest, from the heart story.
