Medical Fund for Curtis Montgomery

Donation protected
With the highest of hopes and optimism, I have started this campaign for my rock, my strength, my brother, Curtis Montgomery, who has been undergoing aggressive treatment for stage 4 T-Cell Lymphoma the past several months. He truly is such an AMAZING man and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. He means the world to our family and really needs as much financial support as possible during this challenging time.

Curtis is married to his wife, Connie Montgomery, and they just celebrated their 15 year wedding anniversary. They have 3 children, Alex, Leah, and Bella, with the youngest being only 12 years old. Curtis loves spending time with family, enjoys golfing, fishing, boating, hiking, traveling, loves spending time at our familys' place up North, is always there for others and genuinely enjoys making others laugh.  Curtis is extremely loving, caring, supportive, hard working, funny, optimistic, reliable, compassionate, genuine, easy going, and an all around incredible young man. Currently, Curtis owns a hard-wood flooring business, which, has been extremely challenging to manage with the various aggressive chemo treatments that he's already undergone to attack this very aggressive cancer; with much more treatment to come.

Curtis is only 42 years young and unbelievably, this is the 3rd DIFFERENT type of cancer that he has had within the past 11 years! Him and his family need support now more than ever! His medical history is very unique and this adds challenges for the Doctors treating him. Stage 4 T-Cell Lymphoma is the current cancer that he was diagnosed with and the most aggressive one he's faced yet!

The treatment plan includes him going through chemo therapy until all of his cancer either shrinks or remains stable. He will undergo a T-Cell transplant once the desired results have been achieved. There is a 30% cure rate of the T-Cell Lymphoma after undergoing the transplant procedure. The transplant is a lengthy and critical process. During the transplant, Curtis will be hospitalized for an extended period of time. The initial chemo treatment was an extremely aggressive chemo regimen to attack this horribly aggressive cancer. Ultimately, this chemo regimen did not have the desired effect on his cancer that we all had hoped. His medical team then switched his chemo regimen to an alternate chemo regimen. Additionally,  this chemo regimen did not have the desired effect on his cancer that we all had hoped either. Lastly, he is currently on his 3rd chemo regimen for the T-Cell Lymphoma and we are hopeful that this chemo will successfully attack his cancer and allow us to move forward with the transplant that he needs to survive. The matched donors have been found and we are only waiting for the desired results from this chemo regimen to move forward and onto the next step in this process.

Curtis is a very strong man and has always shown cancer who's boss. However, the chemo he has undergone these past few months are strong enough to exhaust the strength and energy of even the strongest. As you can imagine, with all of this going on he has not been able to run his business or work to gain the income needed to pay various day to day costs. Medical expenses continue to rise while income has largely decreased due to Curtis being unable to work. The stress of worrying about the lack of income during this already difficult time is the last thing that he needs to be worrying about.

Please help Curtis and Connie with all the financial burdens that they are faced with so that there is one less thing for them to focus on and they can concentrate on what's most important, his health.

If there is absolutely ANY WAY that you can help by making a donation of ANY amount, our family will forever be grateful!

Thank you in advance for your support with the utmost appreciation and gratitude!

I love you beyond words Curtis! Together we will get through this!
XOXOXOXO
