Camp Timber Trails: Winterization & a new Roof...

Tax deductible
The HeARTbeat Collective is calling on our community to help us raise $5,000 to make critical improvements to the Camp Timber Trails dining hall. If you have walked the land, sweat, danced, or shared in meaningful experiences, please consider making a contribution at this time.

Eight years ago, members of the HeARTbeat Collective, a 501(c)(3) organization that started as a production company out of a house in Jamaica Plain, MA, set out to produce a gathering that would support and help sustain a Land project where people could come together and share in our truths, expressions, and beauty.

A hard-working group created the Unifier Festival and found the 417 acre property in the foothills of the Berkshires called Camp Timber Trails. We had a ten year plan. When the property went up for sale after our 2016 gathering, we joined up with members of the Dance New England and along with leadership from both of our communities, we purchased and began stewarding this amazing place.

Since then, we have come together with our families, loved ones, and friends and offered gatherings that have expressed the very best in all of us.

With the help of many people, we have made it through the recent difficult times and managed to keep our doors open. In an attempt to help make the camp sustainable, we are working on a two phase project. The first phase is to put a new roof on, and save our community center, the West Wind building. It is the dining hall and commercial kitchen. It needs our help dearly.
The 2nd phase is to winterize the building so that we may gather year round, in the snow, in the sun, doing our play and work.

Camp Timber Trails is co-owned by over 70+ people and organizations. It has never been a positive cash flow investment for anyone, but rather an act of service to "own" this place. On top of the 70+ "owners" another couple hundred have shared through donation, volunteer work, and through various acts of creation on the Land.

100% of your donation will go from the HBC to Phase 1 of CTT's construction project, putting on a new insulated roof on both sides of the building, along with insulating the walls in the commercial kitchen. The work is slated to happen this Autumn. It is our belief that once we winterize we will be able to have a sustainable camp for generations to come.

Thank you so much for your support. Every bit helps.
