Camp Galilee Renovations

In today's chaotic world, there are few places where a person can escape from the daily hustle and bustle of life; Camp Galilee is a prime example of one of those places! Since 1938 the grounds of Camp Galilee have served as a safe place for thousands of individuals, many of whom still lovingly refer to this place as their "home." Within our walls and on these hallowed grounds, campers from all walks of life can spend time growing in their faith. As a camper here, I learned from my counselors about the love of God; as a counselor here, I learned from the campers about God's blessings; and as the manager here, I have learned how desperately so many people need this place and its message.

While serving in such a beautiful place and program, I have strived daily to care for these facilities, but to continue this mission- our beloved camp needs your help! Unfortunately, as the testimony of this place has grown and aged, so have some of its facilities. Camp Galilee could use your help in continuing its mission of being a safe place for our campers. With your dedication and devotion to this cause, we will strive to continue to meet and teach children of all ages for years to come.

Currently, our boy's bathhouse is in desperate need of repair. The floors are cracking/ crumbling, the plumbing is rusting, and many toilets need to be replaced. Not only do these repairs need to be made, but we also need to make all of our facilitlies more handicapped accessible. Other projects in and around camp that need to be funded and completed include new heaters for our dining facility, gutters for some of our buildings, and outdoor playground equipment for our youth.

In this message is my challenge and plea that you might also consider our Camp your home. We would be extremely grateful if you could find it in your heart to donate to this purpose. However, if you cannot do that right now and want to offer instead to cover this place in your prayers, that too would be a wonderful gift to this fantastic program. I know I speak for all those involved with Camp Galilee when I say it is our goal only to glorify our Lord through this process, and we would like to thank you for joining us on this journey.
