CAMP fire victims Lansden Family

The Camp Fire is at this point California's most dangerous and destructive fire on record in state history. So far, over 6,700 homes have burned and around 300 people are still missing. Nearly the entire city of Paradise, CA has been destroyed due to the wrath of this fire. Raphael and Tiffany Lansden, or better known as Raph and Tiff to their close friends, are two such people who have been affected by this fire, and, as a result, have lost nearly every single thing they own. With only minutes to spare to grab the few possessions they could get their hands on (two boxes of baby pictures, a computer, and some clothes) as the fire was already in their neighbor's backyard, they left their house before it was consumed by flames. The little house at 1565 Sylvan Way was Raph and Tiff's dream home. They finally found their little piece of paradise after years of hard work and dedication. The house was purchased in May, and all things were finally moved in in June. They were so excited to have a little piece of land in a tiny mountain town, away from all of the hustle and bustle they'd grown accustomed to in Ventura, CA. They loved being able to escape to the nearby lakes and trails that surround Paradise with their dog-baby, Kodi, in tow. Raph had lived in the house full-time for about a month and a half, and Tiff for just short of two weeks. They, along with their whole family are devastated by this great loss, but they're so thankful that they were able to make it out safe and sound, especially considering that others have not been as fortunate. Nobody deserves anything like this to happen to them, but especially not this honest, hardworking couple excited to start a new chapter in their life.

Please send your thoughts and prayers to support Raph and Tiff, as well as all other families affect by the Camp Fire, as they start from nothing after years of hard work. Pray that they might find courage and strength on this road to recovery, which is sure to be filled with innumerable challenges along the way.
