Camp fire left my family devastated

Sitting here broken hearted trying to find the words and where to begin. Well let me start by saying how blessed I am, My kids are the best kids ever! when I say my kids I’m talking about my son his wife and all 4 grandkids. Nov 8th is the day my family will never forget. The Camp fire took our homes and everything we owned but it didn’t take our lives, everyone in my family made it out. Praise God! But I have to say It’s the most horrible feeling in the world when your childs heart is broken and there is nothing you can do or say to make him feel better. A little about my son he is 32 years old and married to the most beautiful girl in the world who is kind and loving. They have 4 beautiful babies 2 boy ages 12 and 11 they also have 2 girls age 8 and 1. I have always been so proud of them because both of them wanted a better life for there kids and they worked over time to make that happen. One thing I can brag on is my kids are the best parents ever! My grandkids are polite they are so full of love all because if their parents and their example. Before this devastating occurrence my son worked in the kitchen at feather River hospital, he loved his job very much . His wife worked at community living options of Paradise for a few years caring for disabled clients in their homes. My son and his wife never asked anyone for help they worked hard and gave there kids everything and then some. Although things were hectic my son working a full time PM shift and his wife working a full time grave yard shift they never had much time together but some how they managed and they were not only committed they were dedicated to the kind of work they did. Both my son and his wife lost the jobs they loved so much in the camp fire. My son is a coach for the Chico Panthers and both my grandsons played foot ball my oldest been playing for 7 years and this year with hard work his team has gone undefeated with no losses while his little brother is following right behind him. My granddaughter 8 years old is a cheer leader for the Panthers even took them all the way to Vegas to win a award. I could not be more proud as a parent and grandparent. The truth is my grand babies could not have did it without such loving and dedicated parents. My kids had such a nice place non of them wanted for anything. I’m so broken hearted for my kids and for once I haven’t the words to make them feel better. Everything happened so fast my son was at home with his 1 year old little girl while the rest if the family was in Chico at a doctors appointment. He didn’t have much time so he grabbed as much as he could in the allowed time before he had to leave. He grabbed some pictures, cloths for the kids and their foot ball uniforms and gear. Then on way out he realized he needed gas so headed for the gas station with everything in his truck he ran out of gas so he grabs his baby holding her tight praying as heads down the skyway everything on fire around him. I could not imagine the fear he had knowing no matter what he had to protect that baby. Praise God a kind women seen them walking and picked them up and got them to safety. So my son had to leave his truck behind with just the clothes on his back as well as his kids and wife. All this is a night mare my heart hurts so bad especially for my kids. For once in my life I feel so powerless with nothing to do to help them because I also lost my home and everything me and my husband own along with my mother, sister and brothers families. Right now all I want to do is bring contentment to my kids hearts Am asking anyone and everyone to pls help my babies any donations will help whether it be gift card me money cloths gifts. My babies need help and I don’t care about myself I just need them to be ok. So I am asking for help for them. Please if you find it in your hearts to bless my babies I will be forever grateful!
